Marine Assistance & Log On

A Unique Opportunity

Around 19% of WA residents live in a household with at least one boat, this is by far the highest per capita boat ownership in Australia; a number which continues to rise.

As a gazetted marine rescue group under the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES), Fremantle Marine Rescue provides sea rescue services in the Perth metro area, including the Swan and Canning RIvers, Fremantle and offshore to Rottnest Island and beyond. In fact, we are one of Australia’s busiest sea rescue groups. Annually, we respond to over 500 calls for assistance.

Highly Visible

Fremantle Marine Rescue already has an impressive media presence which continues to grow steadily.

We Specialise at Social

We are highly active on social media across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with excellent engagement on all platforms. We are regarded as leaders in this area within Volunteer Marine Rescue in WA and have helped tutor other groups on the effective use and management of social media.

Our New Look

We have adopted the new Marine Rescue hi-vis livery scheme using the very latest in reflective vinyl materials that now cover all of our rescue vessels and jetskis. Both daylight and at night, this scheme stands out remarkably well and is instantly recognisable. This not only increases safety, but also visual awareness and exposure to other boaties on the water.

Regular Patrols

As well as being available on call 24hours a day, we also run rostered shifts every weekend. On the average Summer weekend, we will have 2-3 boats on the water from 7am till 6pm, patrolling the Swan River, waters around Fremantle and the bays at Rottnest.

This is beneficial to our operations as it reduces our response times to serious incidents. At the same time this also has benefits for sponsors, as our boats go where billboards can’t!

Let’s Talk

Fremantle Marine Rescue would love to discuss the opportunity to be associated with Your Company. Corporate sponsorship has the potential to improve our capacity to save life and property at sea, and also benefit your company in being seen to support a respected local charity.
