Fremantle Sea Rescue is Australia’s busiest Sea Rescue group and one of the busiest in the world.

In 2011 we assisted 673 vessels.

We are a registered charity of volunteers, represented by a committee and independent of State or Federal Government.

Our Promise

We will attend any boater who requires assistance, regardless of their position, time of day or sea conditions.

We take this responsibility seriously and train hard to maintain the highest standards of skill and professionalism.

As part of the Metro Sea Rescue Alliance*, we provide all sea rescue services in the Perth Area.

We receive some government funding, but also rely on our network of affiliate members and corporate sponsors to meet our operational costs. Please support us by joining as a member or making a donation.
